Cooking Time: 6–8 minutes
Total Time: 10–12 minutes
 Ingredients
4 slices sandwich bread (white, whole wheat, or brioche)
2–3 tbsp softened butter
4–6 slices cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or American cheese blend)
Optional add-ons:
Tomato slices
Cooked chicken slices
Chili flakes
Garlic powder (for extra flavor)
 Instructions
Prep the Bread
Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
This will create that crispy golden crust.

On the unbuttered side, layer:
Cheese slices (generous amount for extra melt)
Optional add-ons (tomato, chicken, etc.)
Top with second slice of bread (butter side facing out).
Preheat Air Fryer
Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 2–3 minutes.
 Air Fry
Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cook until:
Bread is golden brown and crispy
Cheese is fully melted and gooey
Serving
Let it rest for 1 minute, then slice diagonally for that classic cheesy pull. Serve hot!
Tips for Best Grilled Cheese
Use thick bread for softer inside + crispy outside
Mix cheddar + mozzarella for best melt and flavor
Don’t overload filling or it may spill
Light butter = crispier texture, heavy butter = richer taste
