- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Preheat oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Prepare cabbage
Slice the cabbage into thick rounds (about 1-inch thick).
Place the slices flat on the prepared baking tray.
3. Cook bacon
Heat a pan over medium heat.
Cook chopped bacon until crispy.
Remove and set aside. (Optional: save a little bacon fat for extra flavor.)
4. Make garlic butter
In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
5. Season cabbage
Brush both sides of each cabbage steak generously with the garlic butter mixture.
6. Add bacon
Sprinkle the cooked bacon evenly over the cabbage slices.
7. Roast
Bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
8. Serve
Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
💡 Tips:
- For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
- Add grated parmesan for a cheesy twist.
- Best served fresh and hot for maximum flavor.
