Prep Time: 10–15 minutes

Cook Time: 10–12 minutes

Total Time: ~25 minutes

Servings: 4 (makes 6–8 patties)

 Ingredients

500g ground beef or chicken (keema)

1 small onion (finely chopped)

2–3 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tbsp ginger paste

1 egg

½ cup breadcrumbs

1 tsp salt (or to taste)

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp red chili flakes

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)

1 tbsp ketchup (optional, adds moisture)

2 tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)

1–2 tbsp oil (for brushing)

 Instructions

In a large bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, ginger, egg, breadcrumbs, spices, soy sauce, ketchup, and fresh coriander. Mix well until everything is fully combined (don’t overmix).

Divide mixture into equal portions and shape into round or oval patties. Slightly flatten them for even cooking.

Place patties in the fridge for 15–20 minutes—this helps them hold shape and stay juicy.

Preheat at 180°C (356°F) for 3–5 minutes.

Lightly brush patties with oil and place in the basket (single layer).
Cook at 180°C for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Ensure patties are fully cooked inside (juices run clear). Cook 1–2 minutes extra if needed.

Serve as is or use in burgers, wraps, or sandwiches!
