 Sautéed Mushroom and Broccoli Stir-Fry

✅ Ingredients (Serves 3–4)
300 g broccoli, cut into florets
300 g mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2–3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but adds great flavor)
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
2–3 tbsp water or vegetable broth
Salt to taste
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Prep broccoli
Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Blanch broccoli for 1–2 minutes, then drain. (This keeps it bright and tender-crisp.)
Sauté mushrooms
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add mushrooms and cook 4–5 minutes until they release moisture and turn golden.
Add garlic & broccoli
Add remaining oil and garlic. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add broccoli and toss to combine.
Season
Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), pepper, and chili flakes.
Add a splash of water/broth to help steam and coat veggies.
Stir-fry
Cook another 2–3 minutes until everything is tender but still crisp.
Taste & finish
Adjust salt if needed. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
