Homemade Oat Yogurt with Chia Seeds (No Sugar)
1 cup rolled oats
2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based like almond/soy/coconut)
2 tbsp chia seeds
2–3 tbsp plain yogurt or plant-based yogurt (optional, for creamier texture & probiotics)
Soak the oats
Add oats and milk to a bowl or jar.
Stir well and let soak 15–20 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for softer texture).
For a yogurt-like texture, blend the soaked oats for 20–30 seconds until smooth.
If you like it textured, you can skip blending.
Stir in chia seeds and the yogurt (if using).
Mix well so chia seeds don’t clump.
Cover and refrigerate at least 2–3 hours or overnight.
It will thicken into a creamy, pudding-like yogurt.
Add natural flavor without sugar:
Sliced banana or berries
Cinnamon or cardamom
A few nuts or seeds
Unsweetened coconut flakes
