 Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef

  • ½ onion, diced

  • 1 green bell pepper, diced

  • 1 red bell pepper, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 (15-oz) cans diced tomatoes

  • 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

  • 1–1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

 Instructions

  1. Brown the beef

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.

    • Drain excess grease.

  2. Add to crockpot

    • Transfer beef to the crockpot.

    • Add onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and garlic.

  3. Add liquids & seasoning

    • Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  4. Slow cook

    • Cover and cook:

      • LOW: 6–7 hours

      • HIGH: 3–4 hours

  5. Add pasta

    • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in uncooked macaroni.

    • Cover and continue cooking until pasta is tender.

  6. Finish

    • Stir well. Add cheese if using and let it melt before serving.
