Ingredients (4–6 servings)

  • 2 lb ground meat (80/20 beef recommended)
    or 1 lb beef + 1 lb pork for extra juiciness

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Colby Jack)

  • ½ cup heavy cream
    (or sour cream / cream cheese for richer texture)

  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • ½ tsp black pepper (optional)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional, not strict carnivore)

  • 2 tbsp melted butter or beef tallow


Optional Carnivore Glaze (Highly Recommended)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • ¼ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup shredded cheese (same as above)


Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Mix

  • In a large bowl combine:

    • Ground meat

    • Eggs

    • Heavy cream

    • Shredded cheese

    • Salt, pepper (and garlic powder if using)

  • Mix gently with hands (don’t overwork).

3️⃣ Shape

  • Transfer mixture into loaf pan.

  • Press lightly to form a loaf.

  • Pour melted butter or tallow over the top.

4️⃣ Bake

  • Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes, until internal temp hits 160°F (71°C).

5️⃣ Add Glaze (Optional)

  • Remove meatloaf from oven.

  • Mix glaze ingredients and spread on top.

  • Return to oven for 10 more minutes until bubbly.

6️⃣ Rest & Serve

  • Let rest 10 minutes before slicing (important!).
