Carnivore Lasagna (Zero-Carb, Meaty & Cheesy)
Ingredients
🥩 Meat Layers:
- 1 lb (500g) ground beef
- ½ lb (250g) ground lamb or more beef
- Salt (to taste)
- 1–2 tbsp butter or beef tallow
🧀 “Noodle” Layers (Cheese Sheets):
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup cream cheese
- 2 eggs
🧀 Filling:
- 1 cup ricotta cheese (optional for strict carnivore—can skip)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup grated parmesan
- 1 egg
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare Meat Layer
Heat butter or tallow in a pan.
Add ground beef and lamb, season with salt only.
Cook until browned and fully done. Set aside.
2. Make Carnivore “Lasagna Sheets”
In a bowl, mix mozzarella, cream cheese, and eggs.
Spread thinly on parchment-lined tray.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes until set.
Cool slightly, then cut into sheet-like pieces.
3. Prepare Cheese Filling
Mix ricotta (if using), mozzarella, parmesan, and egg until creamy.
4. Assemble Lasagna
In a baking dish:
- Add a layer of meat
- Add cheese sheet
- Spread cheese filling
- Repeat layers (2–3 times)
Top with extra mozzarella and parmesan.
5. Bake
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
6. Rest & Serve
Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing (this helps it hold shape).
