Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Breast
Cheesy, tender, and full of flavor
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
12 asparagus spears, trimmed
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prep the Chicken
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Using a sharp knife, cut a deep pocket horizontally into each chicken breast (don’t cut all the way through).
Season
Season chicken inside and out with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Stuff the Chicken
Place 3 asparagus spears into each chicken pocket.
Sprinkle mozzarella evenly inside each breast.
Secure with toothpicks if needed.
Sear for Flavor
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
Bake
Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.
Finish & Serve
Remove toothpicks, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
