CARNIVORE SAUSAGE ROLLS (NO PASTRY)

Ingredients (100% Carnivore)

  • 500g turkey mince

  • 1 egg (binder)

  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)

  • ½ tsp black pepper (optional – omit if strict)

  • 4–6 slices bacon (to wrap)
    OR

  • Egg-based carnivore wrap (instructions below)


METHOD 1: BACON-WRAPPED SAUSAGE ROLLS (EASIEST)

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the filling

  • Add turkey mince, egg, salt (and pepper if using) to a bowl

  • Mix well until fully combined

2️⃣ Shape

  • Divide mixture into small sausage roll–size logs

3️⃣ Wrap

  • Wrap each log with 1 slice of bacon

  • Overlap slightly to seal

4️⃣ Bake

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan)

  • Place on lined tray

  • Bake 25–30 minutes, turning once

  • Finish under grill for extra crisp if needed

METHOD 2: “REAL” CARNIVORE SAUSAGE ROLLS (WITH EGG WRAP)

Egg Wrap Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tbsp melted butter or beef fat

  • Pinch of salt

Make the Wrap

  1. Whisk eggs + butter + salt

  2. Pour thin layer into non-stick pan on LOW heat

  3. Cook gently like a crepe

  4. Do not brown too much

Assemble

  1. Place turkey filling log on egg wrap

  2. Roll tightly like a sausage roll

  3. Place seam-side down on tray

  4. Brush with butter or egg wash

Bake

  • 190°C for 20–25 minutes
