🥩 Carnivore Beef & Egg Bake (Meat Crust)
Ingredients (6–8 servings)
Meat Crust

2 lb ground beef (100% natural, 80/20 preferred)

2 tbsp butter (for cooking beef)

1 tbsp butter (for greasing pan)

½ tsp Paleo Pink salt (or to taste)
Egg Filling

12 large eggs
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
⅓ cup cream cheese, softened
-
¼ tsp black pepper (optional)
-
¼ tsp Paleo Pink salt (optional, to taste)
Topping

⅛ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Colby Jack)
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Generously grease a 9×13-inch baking dish (or similar) with 1 tbsp butter.
2️⃣ Cook the Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tbsp butter.

Add ground beef and cook until fully browned.

Season with Paleo Pink salt.

Do not drain the fat (keeps it juicy).
3️⃣ Form the Crust

Transfer cooked beef into the greased baking dish.

Press firmly and evenly into the bottom to form a solid crust layer.
4️⃣ Prepare Egg Mixture

In a large bowl, whisk:

12 eggs

Heavy cream
-
Softened cream cheese
-
Salt and pepper
-

Whisk until smooth (small cream cheese bits are okay).
5️⃣ Assemble

Pour egg mixture evenly over the beef crust.

Sprinkle ⅛ cup shredded cheese lightly over the top.
6️⃣ Bake

Bake uncovered at 350°F for 40–50 minutes, until:

Center is set

Top is lightly golden
-
No jiggle in the middle

7️⃣ Rest & Serve

Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
