🧾 Ingredients

Meat Crust

  • 2 lbs (900g) ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp onion powder (optional)

Toppings

  • 1–1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella

  • ½ cup cooked bacon pieces (optional but 🔥)

  • ½ lb (225g) cooked beef burger patties, crumbled or chopped
    (this makes the “double cheeseburger” layer)

Sauce Options

  • ¼ cup sugar-free ketchup OR tomato paste (optional — not strict carnivore)
    Carnivore sauce: ½ cup melted cheese + 1 egg yolk whisked together until smooth

Finish

  • Extra cheese on top

  • Pickles after baking (optional — NOT carnivore but true cheeseburger taste)


🔥 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Form a crust: Press 2 lbs ground beef into a large round pizza shape on a lined tray or cast-iron pan.

  3. Season lightly with salt (and optional spices).

  4. Bake 10–12 mins, then carefully drain excess fat.

  5. Sauce layer: Spread ketchup/tomato paste or the cheese yolk sauce over the cooked meat crust.

  6. Add ½ of each cheese.

  7. Scatter chopped burger patties + bacon over the cheese.

  8. Top with remaining cheese for that double cheeseburger look.

  9. Bake again 10–15 mins until cheese is melted and golden.

  10. Rest 5 mins to firm up before slicing.
