Hearty, cheesy, ultra-satisfying — perfect for carnivore & keto

🧂 Ingredients

🥩 Meat Layers

  • 1½ lb (700 g) ground beef (80/20)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper (optional)

🧀 Cheese Layers

  • 2 cups whole-milk ricotta cheese

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

🧈 For Cooking

  • 1 tbsp butter or beef tallow


🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Grease an 8×8-inch or similar baking dish with butter or tallow.


2️⃣ Cook the Beef

  1. Heat skillet over medium-high.

  2. Add butter or tallow.

  3. Add ground beef and salt.

  4. Cook until browned.

  5. Drain excess fat (leave a little for flavor).

  6. Set aside.


3️⃣ Make the Cheese Mixture

  • In a bowl, mix:

    • Ricotta

    • Eggs

    • Parmesan

  • Stir until smooth.


4️⃣ Assemble the Lasagna

Layer in this order:

  1. Ground beef (⅓ of meat)

  2. Ricotta mixture (⅓)

  3. Mozzarella (⅓)

Repeat layers two more times, finishing with mozzarella on top.
